For over 15 years members of the Southeast Florida furry and Therian communities have wished for a time and place to congregate to celebrate our subculture and shared interests.
In 2026 the furry groups of Northern Broward (PawadiseFurs) and West Palm Beach (West Palm Furs) joined both their event planning teams in a collaborative effort to bring a convention to the Southeastern Florida community.
A variety of concepts from the differing groups were brought by the diverse teams, as well as an examination of the history of this long fought endeavor.
“Destination Pawadise”, the first of this festival convention is a one day “mini-con” festival event established for the weekend of Halloween 2026 with one goal in mind. Establish the full convention and the organization that will sustain it.

Destination Pawadise 2026 will be hosted at the Church of Perpetual Life Campus in Pompano Beach, Florida.
We will have more information about local hotels, transit options in the coming weeks.
